HOW TO OPERATE
1.
Before first use, remove all packaging materials and wash Cooking Pans and
Lids in warm, soapy water. Rinse each well and dry thoroughly with a soft,
non-abrasive cloth. Wipe down Base with a dry, non-abrasive cloth.
2.
Find a stable, heat-resistant surface near an electrical outlet and plug in
the appliance. Make sure the Temperature Control Knobs are all turned
to the OFF position until ready to cook or keep food warm.
3.
Place food in each one of the Cooking Pans. Adjust temperature knob to desired heat for
your food contents.
Choose temperature settings:
Low temperature
Middle temperature
High temperature
4.
If placing cooked food into the Cooking Pans, use a middle to low setting to keep the food
warm until ready to serve.
NOTE: The Indicator Lights turn on while the Cooking Pans are warming up. The lights
will turn off when the desired temperature is reached. The lights will turn off and on
intermittently as the temperature is being maintained.
IMPORTANT: Never use metal utensils with this unit as it will ruin the stainless steel finish.
5.
The food trays can keep food hot for a long period of time, but it is
not recommended to exceed 3 to 4 hours. At that point the food
will begin to dry out and/or the flavor begins to change.
6.
Do not leave food in trays. Remove food and liquid for
easy clean up and preparation for next use.
7.
The Lids have been designed with vent escape holes. This allows the built up steam
to release slowly as the Buffet maintains temperature and keeps your food warm.
Keep hands and face away from the steam as it is hot and can cause burns.
8.
When the amount of food in the Cooking Pans is low or if a pan is empty,
be sure to turn each Temperature Control Knob to the off position. If food
remains and is covered it will maintain heat for a short period of time.
9.
Each Temperature Control Knob should be turned to the OFF
position when you are no longer using the Cooking Pan.
10. Always unplug the unit before cleaning. Allow the unit to cool down
completely before putting on or taking off parts for cleaning.
