System Description
Use
Th e DC 11-Module is a dust extractor which is made
for source extraction of dust and chips and for cleaning.
Th e dust extractor and the turbopump are mounted on
a common chassis. Th e unit can be connected to a fi xed
pipe system. As alternative or in combination with this
you can use it as a mobile unit. Th en it must be equipped
with 5 pin Euro connection for the electrical connection
and wheels. You should move the unit with a fork lift or
pallet trolley.
Choice
Th e product comprises a great number of diff erent choices
according to the picture on the next page. Th e machine
can be used with turbopumps 5 - 11 kW, with or without
integrated control box and with several emptying alterna-
tives such as sacks or containers of diff erent volumes and
other handling systems. It can be mobile with wheels or
stationary, automatic or manual fi lter cleaning and equip-
ped with or without HEPA micro fi lter.
System Description DC Green System
DC Green System use two modes of operation for the system:
1.
In control mode, the speed control that the pressure
in the system is kept constant. However, just when
you open or close the socket, you get a short-term
deviation (5-15 sec) in the pressure level with larger /
smaller fl ow in the open outlets.

Filter units
Th e fi lter cyclone cleans the air effi ciently. Th e dust which
is more heavy than the air is forced against the walls of
the cyclone by centrifugal force and falls down to the
cyclone bas, where the outlet is. Th e air is forced to the
middle of the cyclone and upwards through a fi ne fi lter.
Th e air can then be transported out of the work shop
to exhaust outside or pass through a HEPA fi lter to be
exhausted back into the work area. Th e collected dust
is dropped into a plastic sack or container. Th e fi lter is
cleaned by a compressed air pulse or manually operated
reverse pulse jet.
Turbopump
Th e negative pressure is made by a vacuum producing
turbopump. It is normal that the turbopump gets hot
during operation due to its design.
Th e DC 11-Module is equipped with vacuum valve
(except the DC 11-Module S), which means that the
turbopump receives adequate cooling air even when all
outlets are closed.
2.
In save mode, the system switches to a lower pres-
sure, often 20-40% of the operating pressure. Th e
save mode enters with some delay, when all outlets
are closed. As soon as a outlet is opened, the system
switches to the control mode. During the transition
increases the negative pressure in the system gradu-
ally over a 5-20 sec period.
