The boiler is fuelled by pellets. These are little, cylindrical
shapes of pressed wood whose combustion is controlled elec-
tronically.
The fuel tank (A) is located at the rear of the boiler. Filling the
tank is through the back of the lid at the rear of the top.
The fuel (pellets) is taken from the tank (A) and, by means of a
screw (B) operated by a gear motor (C), is sent to the combus-
tion chamber (D).
The ignition of the pellet is via air heated by an electrical he-
ating element (E) and is sucked into the crucible by a smoke
extractor (F)
The combustion air is drawn into the room (where there must
be an air intake) smoke extractor (F).
The smoke produced by combustion, is extracted from the
thermo-stoves through the smoke extractor (F), and expelled
from the pipe union (G) located in the bottom portion of the
rear of the boiler.
The ash falls under and beside the crucible in which is housed
an ash tray from which the ash must be periodically removed
by vacuuming when cool.
The replace in steel, with cast iron base, is closed at the front
by a blind door.
The door has an inspection window to check on the ame.
The hot water produced by the boiler is sent to the heating
system's circuit through the optional kit.
The exchanger tubes are cleaned by means of tube-cleaners (H)
manoeuvred with a handle (L).
The entire boiler and door are insulated which makes it more
ef cient so that the water hot water produced by the boiler is
not dissipated in the place of installation but is conveyed only
to the hydraulic system.
The boiler is designed to function with closed expansion tank
(I).
The synoptic panel (M) which allows managing and viewing
all the operating phases, is installed on the door.
A serial port is found at the back of the boliler (cable: code
640560) to be connected to devices that allow remote ignition
(e.g. remote telephone, local thermostat).
Operating modes
(for further details, please see page 38)
The temperature of the water required in the system is set via
the panel (standard recommendation 70° C) and the boiler
manually or automatically modulates the power to maintain or
reach this temperature.
The Eco function can be enabled in small systems (the boiler
shuts down and goes on again according to the water tempera-
ture required).
