FEATURES AND INSTALLATION
The reading head is used to operate an electrical lock when:
•
A Urmet Ref. 1101/50 proximity key is approached to the frontal part.
•
The hall opening button (PA) is pressed.
The two-color led changes color (from red to green) to indicate recognition of a proximity key moved close
to the front panel. The LED lights up green when operating the lock.
The device may be powered by the PoE switch 1039/44 or /45 or by an external power supply unit.
Follow the indications below during installation:
•
Connect the Ethernet PoE RJ45 port to the PoE switch with the cable 1039/90 (connect terminals V+ /V-
to the external power supply unit if the port to which the device connected is not of PoE type).
•
Connect the PA terminals to the external lock button.
•
Connect SP terminals to the open door sensor (optional).
•
Connect the relay output to a lock.
§

Refer to the system manual for more information on how to use the device in Ipervoice systems.
