Starting up
Factory settings
The most commonly used functions are pre--set so that you can begin to use your
telephone immediately.
-- Dialing method: Tone dial (DTMF) 90/90
-- Refer--back key function: Flash (80 ms)
-- Ringer: Volume 4, tone 1
-- Dial pause after ELC/LDC: 1 second
-- ELC/LDC memory: Empty
-- Speed--dial memory: Empty
-- Function keys M1 to M4: A, B, C, D functions
These settings apply to operation with a private branch exchange.
You can modify these default settings to suit your individual requirements and con-
nection conditions.
Also make sure to observe the operating instructions of your telephone system or
network provider.
Labels
The labels on the telephone can be used to note down speed--dial and function
keys as well as emergency numbers.
These labels are located above the keys or beneath the handset.
To label:
Remove the cover by pulling it up at the contact using your thumbnail; then pull out
the label.
To re--insert:
Insert the filled--out label, slide in the cover laterally and press down the other side
until it engages.
