Place the plastic headrest frame protector
Place the plastic protector over the headrest frame and pull it down over the
backrest frame as far as it will go (this protects the backrest pad from getting caught
on the frame during assembly).
Install the backrest pad
1. Standing behind the chair, gently slide the backrest pad downward onto the chair frame, using a side-to-side motion (Fig.5).
2. Smooth the flap on the bottom rear of the backrest pad upward against the chair frame to secure it using the hook-and-loop
fasteners (Fig.6).
3. From the front of the chair, connect the backrest heater cable connector to the corresponding connector on the chair
base (Fig.7).
4. Connect the backrest air hose connector to the corresponding connector from the seat pad (Fig.7).
5. Close the chair canvas zipper (Fig.8 ).

Reinstall the seat pad
1. Fold the seat pad forward into position.
2. Wrap the bottom flaps on the top edge of the seat pad around the chair frame, then secure them
using the hook-and-loop fasteners (Fig.9).
3. Smooth the top flaps on the top edge of the seat pad up into the backrest to secure the two pads
together using the hook-and-loop fasteners.
4. Tuck the flaps on each side of the seat pad between the seat and the armrest, then smooth them
against the bottom of the chair to secure them using the hook-and-loop fasteners (Fig.10).

Attach the headrest pillow.
Attach the headrest pillow to the headrest using the hook and loop fasteners.
