1. Is the signal between the camera and the receiver encrypted?
The signal between the camera and the receiver is not encrypted and is not possible to
encrypt. To capture the signal someone else has to be within the range of the camera with a
receiver that operates on the same frequency.
2. What does a clear "line of sight" mean?
With a clear line of sight it is meant that no objects what so ever (walls, trees etc.) can be found
between the camera and the receiver. The pictures will gradually worsen and become more
and more unstable when the camera gets too far away from the receiver.
3. Is the camera water resistant?
The camera in your cowCam LITE -solution is classed as IP54. This means that the camera is well
protected from both dust and humidity. It is capable of being placed outside when raining or in
damp environments such as barns.
4. Is it possible to add extra cameras to my cowCam LITE solution?
It is possible to add cameras to your cowCam LITE -solution. You can use up to 4 cameras in total.
If you have a WLAN close by we recommend that you keep one channel open for the WLAN
and use a total of 3 cameras maximum. Contact your retailer for more information or visit www.

5. I want to see the same area at night as I can see in daylight?
To make the most of your monitoring you can purchase our accessory Extra Night Light. Extra
night light covers up to 120m2 and has an ultra long lifetime of up to 50 000 hours (5 years.)

5. Can I receive the picture on my TV?
The cowCam LITE -solution is delivered with cables for connection to TV. You cannot view on a
TV and on your computer at the same time with one AV Receiver. You can add an unlimited
number of AV receivers (Art. no. 708) to your cowCam LITE system, to view in several places in
the barn simultaneously.
