Glossary

CDU: outdoor unit (heat pump) .
Hysteresis : temperature diff erence between water setpoint
and actual water temperature that permits the start up of
the auxiliary heaters.
Auxiliary heater : Electric heater or external heat source
(boiler, heat pump, solar, etc..) to produce hot water in
conjunction with or instead of the CDU.
