DATE CODE POSITION
Date Code, which also includes the year of
manufacture, is printed on the inside of the
worklight. On the power supply, the date code is
located on the bottom.

INSTALLATION OF THE WORKLIGHT POWER SUPPLY (WPS)
(FIG. 1–4)

COVER OR POWER SUPPLY IN
PLACE.
1. Remove the two screws from the miter saw
handle with the T20 wrench provided. Save the
screws to install the Worklight Power Supply
(WPS) in Step 4. Retain the handle cover for
future use if WPS is removed.
2. Attach the connections to the WPS (fig. 2).
3. Arrange the wire connection such that the wide
portion of the connector is placed against the
bottom of the miter saw handle and fit the WPS
to the handle (fig. 3).
4. Attach the WPS with the two screws removed
in Step 1 (fig. 4).

1. Remove the four screws (a) with the the T20
wrench provided (fig. 5). Save the screws to
install the worklight in Step 4. Retain the cover
for future use if worklight is removed.
NOTE: Manually open the guard (b) if needed to
access and remove the lower two screws.
2. Attach the connection from lead wire to the
worklight (fig. 6).
3. Tuck the wire connection into the area in the
worklight as shown. Attach the worklight to
the saw (fig. 7).
4. Attach the worklight with the four screws
removed in Step 1. Tighten screws securely.
(fig. 8).
WARNING: Do not operate the miter
saw if any of the screws are missing,
stripped out or not seated.
5. Manually open and close the guard to ensure
no binding occurs. With the guard closed, move
the saw arm through a full stroke to also ensure
no guard binding occurs.
