2. If necessary, transmit the safety certificate to your working environment (user and
browser profile).
3. Enter username and password. They are both admin in the factory settings.
Warning: Passwords that are unchanged from the factory settings are a security risk.
During login, the device forces the user to enter a new password with high security
level.
4. Enter an admin PIN under Administrator access and repeat it.
Note: The Admin PIN must be numeric and consist of 6 digits. A valid PIN is required
for going on to the next step.
5. Click to confirm the entries.
6. If required, change the user name under Admin user name (recommended).
7. Click on Initialization.
8. Click again on Initialization.
9. Click on Copy to copy the initialization code.
10. Click on License server, in order to open it in the browser.
11. Register.
12. Click on create new device in the upper right.
13. Enter a name for your PBX under Description.
14. Paste the copied initialization code under COMtrexx Init File.
15. Click on Create.
16. Click on the clipboard on the right side under Certificate for copying the certificate.
17. Paste the answer of the licence server in the empty entry field and click on Initialize.
18. Click on Open shop.
19. Click on Exchange vouchers under Shop service.
20. Click on Voucher center.
21. Open Device in the menu bar and click on Info.
22. Enter the serial number of your device and confirm by pressing enter.
23. Click on Download License.
24. Copy the complete code into the empty field Activating system.
25. Click on activate.
26. Click on License page. The web interface now opens.
27. On the following pages you can make the settings for Server configuration, DNS
configuration and HTTP proxy configuration. Save your entries.
The IP address is transferred over when the PBX is restarted. You may need to change
the PC's network settings so that the PBX can be accessed via the new IP address.
Note: After rerouting, you need to log in again.
28. Open the page Exchange Lines > Exchange line request and locations. Configure
the location or locations of the PBX, the exchange lines and the end devices.
29. Open the pages of the folder Exchange lines. Enter the settings according to the
existing provider.
