6. Warnings of Possible Problems
1. This PPE/multi-purpose device must never be used against any risks other than the ones described above.
2. Poor equipment maintenance may modify the performance thereof.
3. Dirty/contaminated fabric may reduce the protection thereof.
4. Dirt or melted remains stuck to the garment may lower the performance thereof.
5. Do not take off the garment when in explosive or flammable atmospheres or while handling explosive or flammable
substances.
6. An increase in oxygen content in the air can considerably reduce protection against the textile part catching fire.
7. Tearing should not be repaired by the user as an inflammable thread or piece that will likely re-activate with heat due
to fusion may be very harmful in the event of a flame-generating explosion.
Note: In the event of an impact from molten metal splashing, the user must leave the work area immediately and remove
the garment.
HAZARD: In the event of an impact from molten metal splashing, the garment may not offer protection against
burns if directly worn on the skin.
