INTRODUCTION
The QHL75
Curing Light offers the combination of features, performance and reliability for the polymerization of all
®
photosensitive dental materials (in the 400 to 500nm visible light range.) This versatile dental curing light system offers:
High Light Output Power (minimum 450 mW/cm
Cycle ON/OFF trigger switch with cycle interrupt capability.
Choice of 5 standard DENTSPLY Light Probes for all resin polymerization needs.
Optional Wall Mounting Kit available.

INSTALLATION
Note: - Upon receiving the QHL75
may have occurred in transit. If damage is apparent, please contact your dealer immediately.
- Verify the line plug of the power cord is properly rated, that all connections have been performed to safe
practices and all local regulation requirements (always use the light in conjunction with a properly
grounded outlet).
- Affix the eye protection shield to the probe chuck on the nosecone of the hand-piece or use suitable
protective eye wear.

Insert the desired fiberoptic probe into the nozzle of the handpiece until it snap-locks in place.
2.
Insert the holster in mounting hole on top of the base/power unit (forks positioned forward) and place the
handpiece in holster with the fiberoptic probe/nosecone facing the rear of unit.

Plug the detachable power cord into receptacle on the side of the base/power unit. The power cord may now be
plugged into the AC supply.

Refer to the CLEANING section for specific asepsis/disinfecting instructions.
OPERATION
The main power switch is located on the side of the base/power unit. The switch illuminates (green) when pressed to the
"on" - "I" position (Models 502 - 506) indicating the unit is receiving power and is ready for curing. The main power is
now controlled by the activation (trigger) switch on the handpiece.
Momentarily depress the trigger switch on the front of the handle to activate the lamp and begin the exposure cycle. The
unit will beep every 10 seconds during the exposure.

Curing Light will automatically shut OFF after 1 minute of exposure time. The unit can be activated again
®
by momentarily depressing the on/off trigger switch on the front of the handle.
The exposure cycle can be interrupted at any time by depressing the trigger switch once again.
The high speed cooling fan will start at the beginning of each exposure. After the final exposure, the fan will continue to
run for approximately five to six minutes before automatically shutting off. Note: Do not turn off main power or unplug
the unit until the fan has finished this cycle. The QHL75

reached.
When the curing operation is complete, return the handpiece to the handle holster. During prolonged periods of non-use,
the unit may be turned off by depressing the main power switch to the "off" - "O" position, switch illumination will also
