Adjustment positions for footrests
Horizontal adjustment
Moving the footrests back will increase the load on the rear and deliver
better traction.
Footrests are preassembled and delivered in the same position as the ori-
ginal footrests.
To move the footrests back, simply interchange the footrests [4]:
– Loosen the nut [5]
– Interchange the footrests
– Tighten the nut again
NOTE:
The adapter plate [2] can be removed from the footrest [4] and turned by
180 degrees. Although this will not change the position, it will offer bet-
ter protection of the footrest in case of a crash.
Vertical adjustment
Tall drivers, for example, will want to lower the footrests.
Raising the footrests will increase the working angle, e.g. for Supermoto
operation.
The position of the adapter plate [2] will determine the vertical adjust-
ment of the footrests.
To vertically adjust the footrests, proceed as follows:
– Loosen the nut [5]
– Remove the footrest [4]
– Loosen the fixing screw [3]
– Turn the adapter plate [2] 90° for the three different adjustments shown
in the illustration.
