Child safety
Do not allow the vacuum cleaner to
be used as a toy. Close attention is
necessary when used by or near
children.
Use
Never touch the roller brush while it
is rotating. Injuries could result.
The powerbrush should not be
used at head level. Long hair, ties,
scarves, etc. could be sucked in and
become entangled in the roller brush.
Do not vacuum up items which are
heavy, hard or have sharp edges.
They could cause a blockage and
damage the appliance.
Do not vacuum up ashes or coal,
whether glowing or apparently
extinguished. The powerbrush and the
vacuum could catch fire.
Do not vacuum up any flammable
liquids or explosive materials or
areas where such materials are stored.
Danger of explosion.
Do not use outdoors or on wet
surfaces.
Always turn off this appliance
before connecting or
disconnecting either the hose or the
motorized nozzle.

Do not vacuum up liquids or damp
dirt. This will cause damage and
seriously impair the functioning and
electrical safety of the vacuum cleaner.
The electric shock protection can be
damaged. Wait until freshly cleaned or
shampooed carpets or floor coverings
are completely dry before attempting to
vacuum.
Disposal of a powerbrush
An old powerbrush should be
made unusable.
When disposing of an old
powerbrush, unplug and cut the
cable off the appliance as close as
possible. The plug cut from the cord
should be rendered useless and then
disposed of.
