Water pump
a - Install the water pump below the
water level and above the aspiration
level to make the auto draining
system work (picture 8). Installing the
water pump below the aspiration
level makes the water stay in the
pipes, causing bad smell (picture 9).
b - Never let the aspiration pipes go
above the jet pipes (picture 10). This
causes siphoning (the water doesn't
reach the water pump, damaging the
mechanic seal and causing leaks).
c - Connect the water pump according to
the instructions of the "coupling kit"
found inside the water pump box. If
you purchase a water pump from
another manufacturer, read the
manual that comes with the product.
d - Position of the water pump: it is
defined when the product leaves the
factory but it can be changed
according to the client's needs.
However, it must be installed in a way
that the maintenance is easy. The
installation of the water pump far
from the bathtub is not
recommended, as the longer the
distance the lower the water
pressure. Should you make any
change, move it 2m at the most.
