IX.- TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE.
Problem
There is no hot water and the
screen DOES NOT turn on.
There is no hot water and the
screen DOES turn on.
The water is not hot enough.
Possible Causes
Power failure or faulty wiring.
Sufficient flow has not been reached to
activate the resistance (4 L/min).
Restart the water heater.
Possible internal failure.
The water flow entering the heater is
too strong.
The voltage is lower than 240 volts.
Crossed cables.
The ambient temperature has
decreased or the temperature setting
is too low.
The water pressure is below 7 psi (0.5
bar).
Too much cold water is added.
Heat loss due to excessively long
tubing.
Electrical fault.
Solutions
Check the power supply. Check the breaker.
Make sure the breakers on the main electrical
board are ON. The breaker may be defective or it
could be that the unit is not correctly connected.
Make sure that the shut-off valve for the water
entry line is open.
Consult the manual for the restarting points. Make
sure you turn off the switchboard before restarting
the unit. Press all the restart buttons.
Clean the filter screen at the unit's water inlet.
Consult the manual for the restarting points. Make
sure you turn off the switchboard before restarting
the unit. Press all the restart buttons.
Call customer service.
Reduce the water flow from the tap or slightly
close the inlet water supply valve on the unit to
reduce the flow.
This heater is designed to operate at 240 volts. A
lower voltage produces a lower heating capacity.
You may require a heater with more power.
Check the wiring. Make sure it is correct.
Raise the unit's temperature adjustment.
Check that the shut-off valve is completely open
and the water supply line is not blocked.
With tankless heaters, it is not necessary to add
as much cold water as with conventional tank
heaters. Also, it is possible that an anti-scalding
device has been installed in the tap, which
mixes the cold water. This type of device can be
adjusted to reduce the amount of mixed cold
water.
As the hot water circulates through the system
to the tap, some of the heat is lost, especially if
it must cover a long distance or if the pipes are
cold. This is normal, and can be compensated
by increasing the temperature adjustment and
insulating the pipes.
Please contact a qualified electrician or your local
authorized distributor to solve the problem.
