INSTALLING ThE hOOD

Determine the exact location of the vent hood.
For the most efficient air flow exhaust, use a straight run or as few elbows as possible.
CAUTION:
Vent unit to outside of building, only.

Installation steps:

The following installation steps are required for wall mount installation or alternative cabinet installation.

Typical installation

The vent hood must be installed above the cooking surface at 30" (minimum) if a gas range is used or from 24"
(minimum) to 30" if an electric range is used.
The hood may be installed onto a wall and vented to the outdoors, or it can be installed for recirculating operation
(recirculating accessories not supplied with the hood).
This hood must not be installed over any professional cooktop / range.

1. Choosing the vent options

The hood design is ready to be used for vertical discharge as shown below.
If desired, the hood can be converted for horizontal discharge as shown below.

DUCTING

Provide a Round Duct having a diameter of 8", refer to duct fittings
Install a 1/2" conduit from the service panel long enough to reach the hood once it is installed.
Power supply must be rated for 120 VAC, 60 Hz. 15 or 20 A.
