with the specifications of Section 5 «Principle of
Operation».
• As far as possible, the structural anchor will be above
the operator. The structural anchor point must have a
minimum strength of 12 kN.
• The connection to the anchor point or structure must
be made using a connector compliant with EN 362.
• To connect the work position support lanyard to the
work position support belt, refer to the instructions for
the work positioning belt to use the correct attachment
point and the correct method of attachment.
To use this equipment, follow these instructions:
• It is mandatory to position the lanyard around a tubular
support or other structure before starting to climb.
• Check that the snaps are perfectly locked.
• Adjust the length of the lanyard to prevent any free
fall. Adjustment must be made with the lanyard taut,
as the length adjustment system has been designed
to work with a tensioned lanyard.
• The lanyard should never be positioned lower than the
abdomen of the operator (Figure 2.b).
Before and during use, you should consider how
the eventual rescue could be safely and effectively
delivered in less than 15 minutes. Beyond this
period, the operator is in danger.

• Polyamide rope: stranded Ø 14 mm and reinforced
halyard Ø 14 mm and halyard Ø 12.5 mm
• Tensioner LDR / LCM03 / LCM05 / LCM06: stainless
steel, aluminium, plastic.
• Reduction gear: aluminium.
• Connectors: galvanized steel, aluminium.
9. Associated equipment
Work positioning system (EN 358):
• A connector (EN 362).
• Work position support belt (EN 358).
Any other combination is prohibited.
DANGER
An EN 361 fall arrest harness is the only body
gripper that can be used in a fall arrest system.
10. Maintenance and storage
If equipment is dirty it should be washed in clear and
cold water with possibly a wash liquid for delicate
textiles, use a synthetic brush.
If during use or washing this equipment has been
wetted, it should be allowed to dry naturally in the shade
and away from any source of heat.
During transport and storage, protect the equipment in
a moisture-proof packaging against any danger (direct
heat source, chemicals, UV, etc.).
