Remedy
• load the unit one door at a ti me
• arrange the products in order and evenly (Fig.15)
• leave a 30 mm clearance between the goods and the top shelf (Fig.16)
• introduce products already cooled at the required storage temperature
• load the counter so that the goods from a longer ti me is sold before the newly
• on bent shelves, always use retainers.
What to avoid
DO NOT obstruct/impede the fl ow of cooled air
DO NOT not place goods on cabinet's roof
NEVER introduce heated products
DO NOT obstruct the inlet of cooled air with: goods, price tags, price holders,
decorati ons etc.
DO NOT climb on the cabinet (Fig.18); to reach the loading points use a compli-
ant stepladder.

Arrange the goods without leaving empty spaces, to improve cabinet performance
First use up the goods that have been stored in the unit the longest before adding new arriv-
als (foodstuff s rotati on).
The Customer should:
check that all operati ons have been performed in compliance with applicable regulati ons
use suitable communicati on tools to warn the consumers from climbing onto the cabinets.
17 . Defrosti ng and water drainage
Osaka 3P is fi tt ed with a simple stop defrost system.

17. 1 Draining the water

Install a fl oor drain with a slight slope to avoid:
- unpleasant odours inside the cabinet
- dispersion of cooled air
- malfuncti on of the cabinet due to moisture
Procedure
- install a suitable siphon between the drain and the connecti on to ground
- hermeti cally seal the area of drainage to ground.

periodically check that hydraulic connecti ons are perfectly effi cient, contacti ng a qualifi ed
installer.
18 . Lighti ng

If the layout of the shelves is changed, close the unused power outlets using the caps sup-
plied with the counter Fig.20.
DO NOT leave the outlets uncovered!
Internal lighti ng of the unit is obtained through fl uorescent lights.
