NOTE: Do not bend the LED strips in a radius of less than
5/8" (15mm) or circuit traces will be damaged and void
warranty.

STRIP MODIFICATION
LED strip may be cut, but ONLY where scissors are shown

IMPORTANT: When LED strip is cut, end MUST be sealed with waterproof silicone
To reconnect cut off pieces

Carefully strip top clear seal surface from copper circular patch

Match positive and negative wires to LED strip

Solder the wire ends to the copper circular patches

Seal with silicone and heatshrink LED and wire connection for a waterproof seal

IMPORTANT: When CUT, re-seal ends by applying a drop of silicone sealant on exposed ends of LED strip out moisture.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
12V DC USE ONLY - Use only with a source capable of 1.5amps
For best results, temperature at installation should be between 65-90˚F (18-32˚C).
Ensure mounting surface is properly cleaned and is absent of water, oils, wax, sealant and other surface coatings. SURFACE MUST BE COMPLETELY DRY DURING INSTALLATION FOR ADHESIVE TO FUNCTION CORRECTLY.
Before any wiring ensure vessel or vehicle power and ignition is off - the battery or main power source may need to be disconnected. Consult your owner's manual for battery disconnecting procedures.
Remove unit from packaging

Remove and safely dispose of attached battery & TRY-METM switch in an environmentally safe manner.

Test fit product into desired location. DO NOT place product in high heat and or high moisture areas such as engine bays, washrooms or bilge areas. Ensure wiring is properly secured and free from submersion, moving parts, and

other hazards. LED strips can be trimmed to size by cutting in a straight line where the scissors icon is on the strip. DO NOT cut the strip anywhere else.
IMORTANT: Ensure all wire connections are secure and safe - take care to seal connections to prevent damage from the elements and to prevent contact with any other wires or conductive surfaces
Join the controller and strips by gently pressing the connectors together. If you have trimmed or cut a strip, seal the cut end with a small amount of waterproof silicone.

Prepare your vehicle or vessel by disconnecting the battery or power source. Follow the procedure in your owner's manual and always disconnect the ground (black or '-') terminal first, followed by the positive (red) wire.

Connect the striped wire to a 12V DC power source and the solid black wire to a safe ground source such as a distribution panel, ensuring safe and proper marine wiring practices.

Re-check all connections, ensuring a tight seal to prevent contact with the elements or other wires & surfaces and that proper marine wiring practices have been exercised.

If installing in cold weather, carefully warm the LED strip surface with a hairdryer - the LED strips are temperature sensitive.

Remove the red protective film from the adhesive backing and press product firmly but gently into place (DO NOT APPLY DIRECT PRESSURE TO THE LED CHIPS), taking care to confirm the product adheres properly to the surface.

Reconnect your battery terminals or power source. Negative (black or '-') first, followed by positive (red) making sure the terminal connections are secure and clean.
