MAINTENANCE
ADJUSTING THE RUNNING BELT
The treadmill running belt comes pre-set from factory, however each user tends to force
the running belt to one side during exercise either with the right or left foot. To adjust it ,
do the following:
With the treadmill at low speed (5km/h), walk over it and,
holding the rails, try to stop it. If you can stop, turn the two
adjustment screws half-way
clockwise, and try again to stop the running belt. Repeat the
operation until it stops, ie, do not skid on the drive
roller anymore.
Now we will align the rear roller, making it parallel to the
front. To do this, follow the procedures:
With the running belt moving at approximately 5 km/h,
Ÿ
examine whether it is centered or shifted to the left or
right. If it is shifted to the right, turn the right screw 90 °
(one quarter turn) clockwise and the left screw 90 °
counterclockwise.
Turn only one quarter turn with each intervention, as this
Ÿ
operation is performed with small rear axle displacement
angles.
Wait a few minutes with the running belt moving so the
Ÿ
fibers of the running belt cloth will settle and then repeat
the operation until the running belt is centered.
If the running belt is offset to the left, the left screw should
be rotated clockwise (90°) and the right screw rotated
counterclockwise (90 °). Repeat the procedure if necessary.
CAUTION!
Take care not to stretch it too much, because it can cause the seam of the
track to rupture.
