The usable height of the water trap must
GB
be at least 150 mm.
2.8.3
Separate-pipes roof outlet
The accessories to be used for this type of
installation and some of the connecting
systems that may be adopted are illustra-
ted in fig. 11.
There is the possibility of doubling the air-
intake and smoke-outlet pipes and then brin-
ging them back together again so as to
obtain a concentric discharge by using the
doubler fitting (9 fig. 11).
For this type of discharge the sum of the
maximum
rectilinear
allowed for the pipes must not exceed 7
mm H
O.
2
When calculating the lengths of pipe, take
into account the parameters given in the
Table 1.

FORCED DISCHARGE
(Type B22/52)
This type of discharge can be configured
with kit code 8089912. For instructions on
how to mount the kit, see point 2.8.
Protect the suction with the optional acces-
sory (code 8089501).
The accessory can be mounted using an ø
80 extension and a 50 mm long block,
which must be fitted on the air inlet. At this
point, it is possible to insert the accessory
and fix it to the block with the screws provi-
ded (fig. 12).
Kit (code 8089912) is supplied with the
76
development
inlet diaphragm, which must be used depen-
ding on the maximum load loss permitted,
as shown in figure 8/a.
The maximum permitted load loss should
not exceed 7 mm H
As the maximum length of the duct is deter-
mined by adding the load losses of the single
accessories, refer to Table 1 for calcula-
tions.

NOTE
Before connecting accessories, it is always
advisable to lubricate the internal part of
the gaskets with silicon products. Avoid
using oils and greases.
The outlet terminals for forced-draught
appliances may be located in the external
perimeter walls of the building.
