By pressing the
button, it is possible to
access the output level selection. In this
case, the cursor is not used for the selection
of the digit, and instead the
tons are used to choose the output level
between 00 (minimum) and 99 (maximum).

Once this point has been reached, the main
parameters of the COFDM-QAM module
have been configured. By pressing the
button for approximately 3 seconds, the
user can access a series of options that are
less frequently used which are called
Extended Menus.
5.2.- Extended menus
a.- Device address
The first option that appears in the extended
and
but-
menus is the selection of the device's
address. For a headend to be remote con-
trolled, each controllable element must have
a unique address.
It is the installer's responsibility to ensure
that no addresses are repeated in the
control bus.

b.- Preamplifier powering
The second extended menu allows the user
to select the powering of a possible pream-
