If we worked in channel mode, the selection
of the filter is made internally (based on the
table of channels selected), not appearing
this menu.
d.- Modulation format
If the

menu appears. This lets you change the IQ
modulation format (normal or inverted)

e.- QAM symbol rate
If you press the
button, you access the
fourth extended menu. This deals with the
real symbol rate in QAM, for example 3.6
Mbaud:
This information is useful when doing the
IRD programming where you need to know
the exact symbol rate of the QAM modula-
tion.
This is reading-only menu, and so the
and
buttons are not operational .

f.- Selection of channel / frequency mode
The following menu allows us to select the
frequency-channel mode for the input and
output frequency.
Frequency mode
Channel table 1
When toggling from frequency mode to
channel mode, the first channel (5) is selec-
,
ted automatically. When toggling from chan-
nel mode to frequency mode, the frequency
of the channel that was selected is displa-
yed.
There are 7 possible channel tables selecta-
ble using the
and
buttons :
Table 1: CCIR, New Zealand and Indonesia.
Italian channels.
Table 2: China, Taiwan and CCIR hyper-
band.
Table 3: M/N, Chile.
Table 4: Francia.
Table 5: Australia.
Table 6: South Africa, K1 (8 MHz), I (Ireland,
8MHz).
