2. Execute the app and follow the next steps.
3. Open the program RAD-530 or RAD-510. Under "Model" menu, select the
"Select Model" and the "400-470 (U)" band.
The software for this product can be updated without notice. Go to
www.steren.com to check the latest version of this manual.

4. Connect the cable to the radio you want to program and to a USB port in your
PC.

5. Turn on the radio. Press the "R" button in the top bar of the software.
Modify the parameters you need.
6. Press the "W" button on the top bar of the program to save the data on the radio.
Once modified and saved the data, turn off the radio and exit the program.
• Channel or NO: The modified channel.
• RX Frequency: Receive frequency.
• TX Frequency: Transmit Frequency.
• QT/DQT Dec: QT/DQT decoder.
• DQ/DQT Enc: QT/DQT encoder. The radio can only communicate with radios that
have the same QT/DQT configuration.
• BCL: If activated, the radio will not transmit if the channel is occupied, the signal
is sent only when no other radio in use on the same channel.
• Beat shift: Eliminates interference from the radio´s CPU.
• Scan Add: Select whether the channel will appear in the search function or not.
• TX power (RAD-530 only): Transmission frequency power.
• Bandwidth: Select to set the bandwidth (Wide or Narrow).
To see the options "BCL" and "Beat Shift" in the RAD-510 program, you need
to double click on the "Channel" column.
This Steren product is warranted under normal use against defects in workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year, from the date of
purchase.
CONDITIONS:
1. This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket, product box or package, and product, must be presented when
warranty service is requested.
2. If the product is within warranty, the company will repair it free of charge. The supplier will pay for transportation charges.
3. The repair time will not exceed 30 calendar days, from the day the claim is received.
4. Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accessories to customers, as well as provide warranty services, at any of the locations
mentioned below.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky batteries, failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by
unauthorized personnel, improper safe keeping, among others.
The consumer can also claim the warranty service in the location where the item was purchased.
If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice or purchase ticket.
