2.1 Receiver (See Fig.1)
J1
Memory module connector
JP5-8 Output channel selection jumpers
BZL Buzzer
DLL Delete button
JP1-2 Output functioning logic selection jumpers
JP3-4 Enabling button row selection jumpers
JP9 Aprimatic and other unit monitoring jumper
JPCL feature for acquiring identifi cation data from cloned, imitation
or killer remote controls:
- When the JPCL jumper is disconnected (i.e. the contact is open),
commands from cloned, imitation or killer remote controls are disa-
bled. The receiver will not respond to unauthorized commands and
it will not be possible for unauthorized users to delete data stored
on the system (attempts to do this will be signalled by a series of
beeps which indicate that the operation has failed).
- When the JPCL jumper is connected (i.e. the contact is closed),
the system will respond to commands from cloned, imitation or
killer remote controls.

WARNING: The RF module is housed in a metal container: do NOT
open this container or tamper with the adjustment trimmer, as this
may cause serious malfunctioning of the equipment.

2.1.2 Snap on assembly (See Fig.2)
Snap on assembly is only envisaged when combined with
Aprimatic gate control units, which have a special connector
for snapping on the receiver (for further details, refer to the
instructions for the unit).
2.1.3 Assembly in a separator container
If you do not want to assemble the receiver in the control unit
container, you can buy a separate external container.
WARNING: If you want to use containers other than those supplied as
options by Aprimatic, these containers must guarantee a minimum pro-
tection rating of IP44 for internal use and IP55 for external use.
2.2 Removable memory module (See Fig.3)
The memory module must be inserted in the special connector
on the receiver. You can insert it in either direction. This module
has been specially programmed and contains all the information
required for using the unit and all the information about the
remote controls enabled.
The module can contain up to 400 devices in the 4 K version
(supplied with the receiver) and up to 1500 devices in the 16 K
version (optional). Aprimatic recommends that you use a second
module (not supplied with the unit) as a backup module to be
used if the one on the receiver is faulty.
