Disposal
Parts of the Electrical Tool contain valuable materials
and can be recycled. There are companies that specialize
in recycling that may be found locally. Dispose of the
com ponents in compliance with all applicable regula-
tions. Contact your local waste management authority
for more information.
Troubleshooting
SYMPTOM
Tool will not turn ON
when ON/OFF button is
pressed.
Tool will not run when
run switch is depressed.
Green light flashes.
Tool turns OFF either
when run switch is
depressed or in the mid-
dle of a cycle. Red LED
glows.
Yellow LED blinks repeat-
edly as long as tool is
turned ON and tool func-
tions properly.
Yellow LED glows con-
tinuously and tool will
not begin press cycle
when run switch is
depressed.
Yellow LED glows when
tool is turned ON.
The connections
produced are not
complete.
POSSIBLE REASONS
Battery is completely discharged or battery has
failed.
Battery not properly inserted into handle of tool.
Battery charge is too low.
Tool or battery is too cold or too hot.
Scheduled maintenance/recalibration is required
after 30,000 cycles.
Scheduled maintenance/recalibration is mandato-
ry after 32,000 cycles. Tool is "locked" and will not
function until serviced.
Tool malfunction detected.
Used wrong interchangeable head/insert for the
cable size or material.
The tool was not square to the connector.
Tool is in need of repair.

al legislation, electrical equipment that is no
longer usable must be collected separately and disposed
of in an environmentally correct manner.
SOLUTION
Insert fully charged battery/recharge battery.
Check to assure battery is fully inserted.
Insert fully charged battery/recharge battery.
Bring tool and battery to correct operating range
between 15°F (-10°C) and 122°F (50°C) by allowing
the tool to sit in a conditioned room.

Remove and reinsert fully charged battery. Be sure
to repress fitting. If LED continues to glow, Contact

Install the correct interchangeable head/insert.
Redo the joint. Make sure that the tool is square
to the connector.
