DO NOT exceed lower of towing manufacturing
rating (including in your vehicle owner's manual)
or specific amperage ratings stated on product.
ALWAYS read, understand and follow all warnings
and instructions printed on tow vehicle's battery.
ALWAYS wear safety glasses and use all safety
precautions during installation.

TOOLS REQUIRED:
Trim Panel Remover, Philips Screwdriver, Wire
Cutters
1. Make sure the vehicle is off with the keys removed
from the ignition.
2. Locate the green 4 pin connector located under the
driver side seat. This connector will mate with the
one on the adapter.
NOTE
Removal of driver's side seat may be required to

access the connector
.
3. Plug the brake control adapter into the vehicle's
electric brake control harness connector. Follow all
brake control manufacturer's installation instruc-
tions.
4. Locate a routing path for the adapter to exit the
bottom of dash.
WARNING
Complete the installation per the electric brake
control manufacturer's instructions and mount
the unit as directed. Perform test procedures as
instructed.

5. Replace all parts removed during installation.
Ensure all fasteners removed are installed back
into original positions.
NOTE
Vehicles not equipped with OEM trailer tow pack-
age will not have the 4-Pin Green connector pres-
ent.
WARNING
Overloading circuit can cause fires. DO NOT exceed
lower of towing manufacturer rating or:
• Max. 4 AXLES: 8 BRAKES (24 amps)
