Adapters, multiple sockets or extension cables should not be used to con-
nect the appliance to the mains.
Some basic rules apply to the use of any electrically powered component,
such as:
- do not touch the appliance with wet or damp body parts and/or with bare
feet;
- do not pull the electrical cables;
- do not leave the appliance exposed to weathering (rain, sun, etc.);
- do not allow children or inexperienced individuals to use the appliance;
- the appliance's power cable must not be replaced by the user.
Should the cable be damaged, turn off the device and seek assistance from
a qualifi ed technician to replace it.
Should it be decided not to use the appliance for a certain period of time, it
is recommended that you switch off the power supply to all system compo-
nents that require electricity.
Should you need to replace the power cable, use the cable supplied by the
manufacturer or the technical support service.
3.7 Gas connection
Establish the pipe diameter according to the standards in force.
Before installing the appliance, it is recommended that you blow the gas
piping so as to remove any processing waste. Connect the appliance to the
internal system gas pipe and insert a valve upstream of the appliance to
isolate and turn on the gas.
Appliances operating with LPG and powered by gas cylinders with isolation
and control devices should be connected in such a way as to guarantee the
safety of people and the surrounding environment.
You should ensure compliance with the current standards.
When starting up the appliance for the fi rst time, have the following checks
carried out by a qualifi ed professional:
- a check on the internal and external gas delivery system seal;
- a check on the gas fl ow rate according to the power required of the ap-
pliance;
- that the appliance is powered by the type of gas for which it has been
set up;
- that the gas power supply pressure is within the values shown on the
technical data plate;
- that the gas power supply system has been sized for the input neces-
sary for the appliance and that it is fi tted with all of the safety and control
devices provided for by the standards in force.
In case of prolonged user absence from the appliance, shut off the
main appliance gas supply valve.
Do not use the gas pipes as earthing for electrical appliances.
3.8 Water connection
Connect the appliance to the water mains and insert a water isolation valve
upstream of the appliance (available on request).
Looking at the appliance head on, the cold water inlet is to the right and the
hot water outlet to the left.
Ensure that the water system pipes are not used as earthing for your
electrical or telephone system. They are in no way designed for this
purpose. Using them in this way may cause serious damage to the
pipes and the appliance itself in a short space of time.
3.9 Gas conversion
Converting gas from one form to another can be done easily, even with the
appliance already installed.
This should be done exclusively by professionals qualifi ed and
authorised according to the regulations in force.
The boiler is supplied to operate with methane gas (G20) or LPG (G30/
G31), according to the indications on the product data plate.
The appliance can be converted from one type of gas to another using one
of the specifi c kits provided on request.

To disassemble:
- disconnect the appliance from the mains and shut off the gas valve
- remove in this order: the casing, air tank cover and combustion chamber
cover (fi g. 1)
- disconnect the spark plug cable
- unthread the lower cable gland from the air tank seat
- remove the burner screws and then the burner with the spark plug at-
tached and the relative cables (fi g. 1)
- use a box spanner or a wrench to remove the nozzles and the washers.
Replace with those in the kit (fi g. 2a).
Use and fi t the washers in the kit even in the case of collectors
without washers.
