- Before operating the pressure pot, check that
it completely depressurised (the pressure
gauge show 0).
- Disconnect the air hose from the pressure
regulator. Lift the lid and fill the pressure pot.
- Prepare the paint according to the instructions
provided by the manufacturer.
Filter the paint to eliminate the bigger particles
that might clog the gun or obstruct the fluid
passages.
- Tank filling; never exceede the máximum
filling ¾ level.
- Close the cover. Once the pressure pot lid has
been closed securely, open the product outlet
valve and connect the air hose to the pressure
pot again.
- Turn the pressure regulator (1), checking that
the product comes out of the gun through the
hose.
7.2. Pressure release procedure
The tank remains under pressure until the
pressure is released manually.
Follow the instructions to release pressure from
pressure tank:
- BEFORE INSPECTING OR OPERATING
THE SYSTEM
- AT THE END OF JOB OPERATIONS
1) Interrupt the air supply by closing the air inlet
ball valve.
2) Disconnect the air inlet hose.
3) Open the exhaust valve.
4) Wait until no more air passes through the
exhaust valve.
5) Unscrew the clamps and remove the lid.
6) Leave the exhaust valve open, until the lid is
put back in place.
7.3. Safety items
1. DISCHARGE VALVE
This valve has the function of
depressurising the pressure pot.
(652/653 INOX)
2. SAFETY VALVE
This valve operates by removing
the pressurised air that exceeds
the pressure set for the pressure
pot. Do not knock or manipulate
this valve and check that it
operates correctly on a periodic
basis.
