Beware of suffocation
• Operating the hob and oven in an unventilated
area will reduce the amount of oxygen in this
area.

Explosion hazard
• Only operate the hob and oven at the pressure
shown on the type plate. Only use pressure con-
trollers with a fixed setting which comply with
the national regulations.
• The hob and oven shall only be used in an above
ground open air situation with natural ventila-
tion, without stagnant areas, where gas leakage
and products of combustion are rapidly dis-
persed by wind and natural convection.
• Do not use the hob and oven if it is leaking, dam-
aged or does not operate properly.
• Check that seals between the device and the
gas cylinder are in place and in good condition
before connecting the gas cylinder.
• Do not use the device if it has damaged or worn
seals.
• Do not place chemicals, flammable materials or
spray aerosols near this device.
• Never use a naked flame to check the hob and
oven for leaks.
• If you smell gas:
– Close the gas supply valve on the cylinder.
– Do not press an electric switch.
– Put out any naked flames.
– Have the gas system checked by a specialist.
• Do not operate with panels, covers or guards
removed from the hob and oven without ventila-
tion.
• Always attach or detach the gas cylinder out-
doors away from a naked flame, pilot light or
other source of ignition and only when the hob
and oven is cool to touch.
• Do not allow the gas hose to come in contact
with any hot surfaces.
• Inspect the gas hose for damage such as burns,
chafing and kinks before each use.
Fire hazard
• Do not operate the hob and oven within 100 cm
of any combustible material including walls and
ceiling.
• Gas cylinders must remain upright to prevent liq-
uid gas flareup.

• Do not place any objects other than food on or
against the hob and oven.
• Never place the hob and oven near flammable
materials (paper, dry leaves, textiles).
• Keep flammable objects away from the burner.
• In case of fire, shut off the gas supply.
Burn hazard
• Do not move the hob and oven during use.
• Use protective gloves when handling hot
components.
• Leave the hob and oven to cool down properly
before you touch it with bare hands.
• Accessible parts may be very hot. Keep young
children away.
• The use of alcohol or prescription or non-pre-
scription drugs may impair your ability to
properly assemble or safely operate this device.
• When deep frying with oil, a thermometer must
be used. Never allow oil temperature to get hot-
ter than 200 °C. If the temperature exceeds
200 °C or if oil begins to smoke, immediately
turn the burners off.
• When cooking with oil, fire-extinguishing mate-
rials shall be readily accessible. In the event of an
oil or grease fire do not attempt to extinguish
with water. Use a Type BC dry chemical fire
extinguisher or smother fire with a fire blanket,
earth, sand or baking soda.
• Never overfill the cookware with oil, grease or
water. Follow instructions in this manual for
establishing proper oil, grease or water levels.
• When frying with oil, all food products must be
completely thawed and towel dried to remove
excess water. Failure to completely thaw and dry
food may cause oil to overflow. Follow instruc-
tions in this manual for frying foods.
• When frying, slowly submerse food products
into the oil. Do not drop.
• Do not place empty cookware onto a lit
burner.Use caution when placing anything in the
cookware while burner is in operation.
• In the event of rain while cooking with oil, imme-
diately turn off burners and gas supply, then
cover the cookware. Do not attempt to move the
device or the cookware.
Health hazard
• Only operate the hob and oven when an adult
can attend to it.
