1.3. DO NOT USE the Homelight epilator near your eyes.
Pointing the BaByliss Homelight appliance at your eyes when activated can cause serious eye damage.
The appliance is not intended for removing hair from eyelashes or eyebrows.
Keep away from your eyes!
Use the safety glasses included when using the Homelight epilator.
1.4. DO NOT USE the epilator on white, grey or blond hair.
The Homelight appliance is not effective on white, grey or blond hair. If your hair is one of these colours,
the Homelight appliance may not work.
Note: the colour of the hair may also differ according to the different areas of the body. It is possible that
the results will vary depending on the area treated and the hair colour.
2. Contra-indications
Using the Homelight epilator is temporarily contra-indicated under certain conditions. DO NOT USE the
Homelight device if:
You are pregnant or breast feeding.
You have had lengthy exposure to the sun or UV equipment over the previous 28 days.
You have tattoos or permanent make-up on the area to be treated.
There are abnormalities on the skin in the area to be treated: brown or black marks, large freckles,
birthmarks, warts or nevus pigmentosus.
You suffer from eczema, psoriasis, lesions, open wounds or evolutive infection in the area to be treated.
Wait until the affected area has healed before using the Homelight appliance.
You show antecedents to the genesis of keloids, you have a known sensitivity to light (photosensitivity)
or one caused by medication, including non-steroidal anti-inlammatories (e.g.: aspirin, ibuprofen,
paracetamol), tetracycline, phenothiazine,
luorouracil, vinblastine, griseofulvin, Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), Beta-Hydroxy Acids (BHAs),
Retin-A®, Accutane® or topical retinoids.
You have recently been treated or are being treated with Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHA), Beta-Hydroxy
Acids (BHA), Retin-A®, topical retinoids or azelaic acid.
You suffer from an abnormal skin condition caused by diabetes, for example, or another systemic
