PROGRAMMING
ROLLER
J1=POS2 (BRIDGE OPEN)
Programming Roller Code transmitters in RL1
Before starting any programming, leave the power supply
off for 5 seconds and then connect the receiver.
In order to carry out the initial programming, connect the
power supply and ensure that no other Roller Code
transmitter signal is received until programming is finished.
A- Programming with the receiver
1 In the receiver, place D1 in ON (L2 flashes).
2 Press the channel button for the transmitter to be
programmed.
If programming has been made correctly, the receiver
gives out two beeps.
It is possible to use any channel when programming a
transmitter for the first time. However, subsequent
transmitters must be programmed in the same channel
(for example, if the first transmitter is programmed in
channel 4, the following transmitters shall also be
programmed in channel 4). If you wish to use another
channel, first format the transmitter memory using the
RECORD or LTAGREC console.
3 Repeat step 2 with as many transmitters as required,
always using the same channel.
4 When all the transmitters have been memorised, position
DIP1 in OFF.
B- Programming with a programmed transmitter
1 Using the programmed transmitter, activate the receiver
programming mode: depending on the model (fig. 2),
press the corresponding mini-button [A], or make a
bridge [B] between pins 1 and 5 of the 5-way connector.
The receiver beeps to indicate that it is ready to
programme codes for new transmitters (for 10
seconds only).
2 Press the button of the new transmitter to be memorised
(press the same button as for the first transmitter
programmed). If programming has been made correctly,
the receiver gives out two beeps.
3 Should 10 seconds pass without any transmitter being
memorised, the receiver finishes the programming mode
and remains ready for operation.

FAILURE DIAGNOSIS
Should the receiver not work correctly, check the following:
• the power supply voltage and fuses F1 and F2
• that the configuration of the magnetic key reader DIPs is correct
• that the position of J1 (Roller Code or Fixed Trinary Code)
coincides with the encoding of the transmitter
• that the frequency of the RSD module coincides with that
of the transmitter
• that the configuration of J2 (ANT frequency) is correct in
accordance with the connected RSD module

Installation instructions
CODE
TRANSMITTERS,
C- Programming with a console (personalised code)
With the RECORD or LTAGREC console you can programme
a personalised code in the transmitter and in the receiver.
Follow the console instructions.
Programming Roller Code transmitters in RL2, RL3 and/or RL4
In RL2, RL3 and/or RL4 it is possible to programme all the codes
programmed in RL1, but in a different channel. To do this:
1 Press P2, P3 or P4 for at least 4 seconds, until L2 lights up.
Release P2, P3 or P4: L2 flashes.
2 Whilst L2 is flashing, in a transmitter previously
programmed in RL1, press the button of a channel other
than the one used in RL1. The receiver beeps twice and L2
remains static for a few seconds, indicating that
programming was successful.
L2 goes off and this channel is automatically
programmed in RL2, RL3 or RL4 for all the transmitters
programmed in RL1.
To change the channel assigned to RL2, RL3 or RL4 (for all
transmitters programmed in RL1), repeat steps 1 and 2
with the required channel.
The transmitter channel used in RL1 can be assigned to
RL2, RL3 and/or RL4. This means that all relays can be
activated at the same time using a single channel.
PROGRAMMING MAGNETIC KEYS
Magnetic keys can be programmed in any channel, placing J1
in POS1 (closed). Programming is similar to for transmitters:
activate programming for the required channel (place D1 in
ON for RL1; press P2, P3 or P4 for RL2, RL3 or RL4), and then
bring the key up close to the reader. After programming,
place D1 in OFF or release P2, P3 or P4.
It is possible to programme a radio code and a magnetic key
code in each channel. It is not possible to programme two
radio codes or two magnetic key codes in a single channel.
USING THE MAGNETIC KEYS: the magnetic keys are
programmed with J1 in POS1. Once programmed, the
position of J1 is indifferent.
MODIFYING THE OPERATION FREQUENCY
1 Correctly configure J2
(868.35 MHz: J2 interrupted; 433.92 MHz: J2 bridged).
2 Insert the RSD module corresponding to the new frequency.
3 Replace the ANT1 antenna connected to cable connector 10.
• in Roller Code, that the transmitter has the same code
customisation as the receiver
• that the antenna is properly connected and installed
• the correct operation of the transmitter
• the correct programming of the transmitters (if in doubt,
programme them again)
• the location of the antenna or of the receiver: modify
them as necessary
