Loop Recording

Videos are recorded in short segments which reduces
the file size of your recordings. Recording smaller files
better facilitates file transfers and enables the
overwriting of old videos without losing important data.
Videos that are locked manually, through the Parking
Mode or Incident Detection features will not be
overwritten.

Lock Video

To ensure your current video can't be overwritten, while
recording, press and hold the Menu/Mode button to lock
the current loop. A lock icon will appear on the screen, to
indicate that this portion of the video will not be
overwritten.

Lane Departure Warning

While you're driving, your device will sound an alarm if
your vehicle drifts or suddenly veers out of your lane.
(For instructions on how to calibrate the Lane Departure
Warning proceed to 5.2.3 Lane Departure Warning
Calibration on page 15.)

Forward Collision Warning

While you're driving, the device will sound an alarm when
your front bumper is within collision range of an
approaching vehicle.
