GENERAL INFORMATION
Low Battery Indicator
When the battery voltage drops below approximately 2.7V, the red POWER
LED will begin flashing once every 2 seconds to indicate that the batteries
need to be replaced. When this occurs, you should replace the batteries
immediately. If the battery voltage falls below 2.4V, the voltage tester will
beep 5 times and then immediately turn off.
Replacing the Battery
WARNING:
To avoid electric shock, remove test leads from the
voltage tester before removing the battery cover.
1. Remove the one Phillips screw from the battery cover located on the
back of the 41161N voltage tester.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Install two (2) new AAA batteries.
4. Re-install the battery cover and tighten the screw. Be careful not to over
tighten the screw.
WARNING:
To avoid electric shock, do not operate your tester
without the battery cover in place and fastened securely.
