ParaPost®Fiber WHITE
Drills: Prior to each use, remove debris ultrasonically or by
hand scrubbing with a brush; thoroughly rinse and dry. Place
drills, with a sterilization indicator, into an autoclave bag and
seal. Sterilize in gravity at 132°C for 12 minutes. Sterilizing
bags should not touch the walls of the autoclave. Once the
sterilization monitor indicates that sterilization was achieved,
place autoclave bag, with the drills inside, in storage until ready
for use. To decontaminate, soak in a 70% isopropyl alcohol
solution for 10 minutes.
Universal Hand Driver: Prior to each use, remove debris
ultrasonically or by hand scrubbing with a brush. Sterilize by
autoclave (see "Drills" for autoclave instructions).

Post Removal Technique
1. Take a radiograph of the tooth that requires post removal.
2. Carefully estimate length and diameter of ParaPost Fiber
White post to be removed.
3. Remove any restorative or core material which may be in the
way to gain direct straight-line access to the post.
4. Indent the center of the post using a # 1/2 round bur at
high speed.
5. Carefully drill an initial channel into the center of the ParaPost

Fiber White post using a Kodex twist drill (cat. # K95 or K97)
at slow speed.
6. Carefully drill to full depth through the center of the post us-
ing an end cutting Tenax Starter Drill (cat # Te-DC-1, Ø .036"
/ 0.90 mm) or Tenax Drill (cat #Te- A-11, Ø. .043"/1.1mm).
Check radiographically at stages.
7. Gradually work up to original diameter using standard
ParaPost drills.
8. Re-treat endodontically, if necessary.
9. Re-restore with new post/ core and restoration.
Always verify steps via radiograph.
