Information on data privacy

The power tool contains a chip which
automatically stores machine and oper­
ating data. The data saved cannot be
traced back directly to an individual.
The data can be read in a contactless
manner using special devices and shall
only be used by Festool for fault diagno­
sis, repair and warranty processing and
for quality improvement or enhance­
ment of the power tool. The data shall
not be used in any other way without the
express consent of the customer.
9.3 Federal Communications
Commission (FCC) Interference
Statement
NOTE: This equipment has been tested
and found to comply with the limits for a
Class B digital device, pursuant to
part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits
are designed to provide reasonable pro­
tection against harmful interference in
a residential installation. This equip­
ment generates, uses and can radiate
radio frequency energy and, if not in­
stalled and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful inter­
ference to radio communications. How­
ever, there is no guarantee that inter­
ference will not occur in a particular in­
stallation. If this equipment does cause
harmful interference to radio or televi­
sion reception, which can be deter­
mined by turning the equipment off and
on, the user is encouraged to try to cor­
rect the interference by one or more of
the following measures:
