Using your appliance
• Close the appliance and plug it in. The
indicator lights (c) et (d) will come on (1).
• Select the desired temperature using the
thermostat (e) (position 1-6) (2).
• Once the appliance reaches the right
temperature, the setting indicator light (d)
goes out (3).
• Open the appliance and lightly oil the plates.
• Pour the waffle batter into the centre of the
hollow part of the plate (4).
• Immediately close the appliance, using the
handle, so that the batter is evenly
distributed over the whole surface of the
plate (5).
• Do not hold onto the handle of the
appliance during cooking, as this will prevent
the batter from rising.
Note: During cooking, the thermostat
indicator light (d) will come on and go off
again at regular intervals in order to ensure
the cooking temperature remains constant.
Equally, you can adjust the thermostat at any
time during cooking if you feel that the
temperature is not high enough, or again, is
too high.
• The cooking time is about 2-3 minutes and
will vary according to the composition of the
batter.
In any case, it It is advisable to control the
degree of cooking with the thermostat
according to your own taste. The quantities
and times are given by way of indication only.
• Once cooking is complete, remove the
waffle using a spatula (6).
• Do not use metallic or sharp utensils, as they
could damage the coating on the plate.
• If you want your waffles to be browner,
select a higher setting on the thermostat or
increase the cooking time.
• After use, unplug the appliance and allow it
to cool down.
Cleaning
• Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it and
allow it to cool down.
• Never place the appliance in water or under
running water.
• To clean the outside of the appliance, use a
damp sponge and dry carefully.
• To clean the plates, use a damp sponge with
washing up liquid.Rinse and dry them with
care.
If there is any batter baked onto the plate, we
would advise using vegetable oil to soften it
and waiting 5 minutes before removing it.
• Never use a scouring pad or powder.
Storage
• Wind the cord around the appliance and
store the appliance vertically to save space.

REAKFAST
AFFLES
3 egg yolks, 370 ml milk, 250 g flour, 2 tsps
yeast, 3 tsps sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 8 tsps oil and
3 egg whites.
• Mix the egg yolks and the milk.
• Add the flour, yeast, sugar and salt and mix
well. Add the oil.
• Beat the egg whites until stiff and
incorporate into the batter.

AFFLES
5 egg yolks, 5 tbsp hot water, 100 g sugar,
grated zest of one lemon, 150 g flour, 1/2 tsp
yeast and 5 egg white.
• Beat the egg yolks, water, sugar and the
grated lemon zest.
• Mix the flour and the yeast and add to all
the other ingredients.
• Beat the eggs whites until stiff and
incorporate them into the mixture.
