Installing/removing the child car seat in the
car
Place the child car seat in a suitable forward-facing position. Push the backrest until it rests flat against
the vehicle seat back. If the vehicle' s seat back is adjustable, ensure it is in the upright position.
With a 3 point belt:
1
Place the child car seat in an approved position in the car.
Pull out the vehicle belt and guide it through the lap- and shoulder guides
2
With ISOFIX and vehicle 3-point belt:
Extend the ISOFIX connectors by pushing the button (x) and extending the sliders
3
Insert the ISOFIX connectors to the ISOFIX connection point in the car. Make sure that there is a green
4
indication on both ISOFIX connectors
Retract the ISOFIX connectors so that there is no space between the child car seat and the vehicle
5
seat backrest.
6
To remove the child car seat, press the ISOFIX buttons and pull the seat out.
Adjusting the sitting position
The recline of the child car seat backrest can be adjusted to enable different sitting positions.
7
Pull the recline handle and pull the seat forward or backward relative to the base.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT recline the child seat' s backrest beyond the allowable adjustable range. If
you hear a loud "click" whilst adjusting the backrest, then you have gone past the allowable range.
Reclining the vehicle seat may adversely affect the position of the vehicle seat belt across the child
and may result in death or serious injury during a crash. Refer to your vehicle owner' s manual for
adjusting the vehicle seat back with child seats.
