3.2 Software Installation
Before you connect the 32-bit PCI 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet Card to the
network, you have to install the network driver first. Please follow these instruction
in order to install the device:
Insert the CD-ROM and the Auto-run program will appear. Alternatively, open a
file browser and double click on the autorun.exe file located in the CD directory.
In some specific setting on Windows system, you may need to proceed the
software manually, go to your Windows Start menu and choose Run, type
<CDROM>:\A02-SG32\Driver\<OSVer>\SETUP.EXE
<CDROM>:\A02-SGE\Driver\<OSVer>\SETUP.EXE in the dialog box and
click OK.
Click on A02-SG32 or A02-SGE icon to select Gigabit Ethernet NIC Home Page.
Select the right choice, depending on your operating system, and the install wizard
will begin installing the software. Follow the install wizard instructions to complete
the installation
3.3 Hardware Installation
Shut down the computer, unplugs its power cord, and remove the chassis cover.
Insert the contact edge of the Gigabit Ethernet card into the connector of any
available PCI Bus Master or PCI Express 1.0a expansion slot. Press the card firmly
into the connector such that the card's contacts are fully seated in the connector,
this card can put either in 32-bit or 64-bit PCI slot, but it is recommended that
the card to put in the 64-bit PCI slot to have the maximum performance.
Install the bracket screw and secure the card to the computer chassis.
Cover the computer's chassis.
Switch computer power on.
