SWITCHING ON AND USE
Connect the power plug 4 [E] to the mains socket in accordance with the safety war-
nings described previously.
Turn the switch [B] ON.
Select the desired temperature by pressing [D]. The LED [C] indicates the selected
temperature:
• BLUE LED: 190°C
• PINK LED: 210°C
• RED LED: 230°C
When the LED [C] stops flashing, it means the plate has reached the selected tem-
perature.
Proceed with using it according to the type of hair. Refer to the "Straightening tips"
when you wish to straighten your hair.
SWITCH-OFF
Turn the switch [B] OFF.
Do not pull the cord or appliance to disconnect the power cord [E] from the mains
socket.
Put the appliance in a safe place and wait as long as necessary for the straightener
to cool completely.
Take care not to wind the power cord around the straightener when storing it.
Standby mode
For added safety, the straightener will switch-off automatically after 60 minutes if it is
not used for 20 minutes even though it is connected to the mains.
STRAIGHTENING TIPS
This professional hair straightener becomes very hot. We recom-
mend that utmost attention be paid to the condition of the hair that
is to be treated, especially in the case of bleached and deconstruc-
ted hair. We recommend a maximum of 3 seconds of application and
to always test a hidden lock in advance.
• Wash your hair as usual, dry and brush it to untangle any knots.
• After drying, do not use hairspray, mousse or gel.
• Take a thin lock of hair between your fingers as wide as the heating plate and
place it between the plates.
• Close the hair straightener and hold the lock taut with one hand while sliding the
straightener with the other hand from the roots to the ends.
• Start straightening from the nape of the neck and then move on to the sides and
lastly to the front.
As you proceed with the straightening, be careful not to move the straightener too
close to the face, ears, neck and skin, which will cause burns due to its high tempe-
rature.
• Continue until the straightening is complete.
Steam may be produced while straightening; this is normal due to the excess moistu-
re in the hair which evaporates.
