Handlebar Accessory Mount Base

Tools required
• 4 mm hex wrench
• Torque wrench
Installation
1. Make sure the PT is powered off and unplugged.
2. Remove the three standard fasteners from the handlebar.
3. Install the two Mount Balls and fasteners (not shown) to the Mount Base.
Torque the fasteners to 6.0 N-m (4.4 ft-lbf).
4. Install the Mount Base to the Handlebar using three 35 mm fasteners and
three spacers as shown in Figure 16. Torque the fasteners to 11.0 N-m
(8.1 ft-lbf).
NOTE
Be sure to periodically check the tightness of all fasteners.
Removal
1. Make sure the PT is powered off and unplugged.
2. Remove the Mount Base from the handlebar in the reverse order of the
above procedure.
NOTE
Refer to the Weight Limits and Maximum Allowable Cargo Weight
sections (p. 3) before using this accessory.
