TO GET THE MOST FROM YOUR GRILL & GRIDDLE
• To prevent scratching the grill surface, always use plastic utensils. Never cut
foods on the grill.
• Flat, thin, and boneless foods grill best. Foods that are too thick take longer to
cook (like bone-in chicken breasts, or corn on the cob).
• For low fat foods, i.e. fish steaks, chicken breasts, turkey burgers, vegetables, use
a light coating of vegetable oil to keep foods from drying out or sticking to the grill.
• If using non-stick cooking spray, lightly spray both sides of non-fatty foods (like
chicken tenders) prior to placing on grill.
• If you are using the grill for hamburgers, you can simultaneously use the griddle
for a grilled cheese sandwich to make two lunches at once. Or, use the griddle to
toast/heat rolls and buns for the burgers.
• Use low and medium settings to reheat previously cooked foods, to keep foods
warm after cooking, or to cook very thin sliced or delicate foods like apple or
pineapple slices.
