I. GENERAL.
The Federal 300 SelecTone (250VDC) is a light weight, solid-state, compact, selectable tone au-
dible signal of advance design. It provides continuous duty and economical operation. Unique and
distinctive tones are produced by plug-in modules. Each plug-in tone module, which produce the
individual signal sounds, contains built-in automatic control circuitry to vary the frequency of an
individual selected tone. It is particularly useful in situations which require a distinctive tone, such
as areas of high noise level or where a different sound is required to distinguish from other nearby
signals. The SelecTone system allows convenience of change with signal need, allowing you to
select from the tones in table 1. This device is UL (Underwriters Laboratories) listed and CSA
(Canadian Standards Association) approved.
