SAFETY INFORMATION
• This product is intended exclusively for professional use.
• Only connect the device to an AC power supply (~) and make sure that the mains voltage is suitable.
• Only plug the device into properly installed plug points with a mains voltage and fuse that are suitable
for use with the technical specifications of the device. The plug point must be easily accessible so that
the plug can be pulled out quickly in case of emergency.
• For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual
operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask
your installer for advice.
• Do not use this device in the bath or shower.
• Do not place this device anywhere where it might fall into water (on the side of a bathtub,
washbasin, sink, etc.)
• Do not use the device if you have wet hands and do not place it on a damp floor.
• Never touch an electric device that is connected to the mains if it has come into contact with water or
another fluid. In such cases, pull the plug out immediately.
• Do not use the device during a storm; a lightning strike could result in electric shock.
• Never place the device on fabric items such as rugs and bedclothes if it has not completely cooled down.
• IMPORTANT: Do not allow your skin to come into contact with the hot surfaces of the straightening plates;
pay particular care to your face, neck, and hands.
• This appliance can be used by children by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children without supervision. When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the
proximity of waterpresents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
• Unplug the device after using and before cleaning. Keep the cable away from the heat plates.
• Let the device cool down before putting it away.
• Do not wind the cable around the device, as it could break.
• If the power cable is damaged, stop using the device immediately. To avoid risk to the user, the cable
must be replaced by the manufacturer or by a repair shop authorized by the manufacturer.
Correct Disposal of product
Within the EU, this symbol indicates that a product cannot be disposed of via household
rubbish. Devices that are no longer used contain valuable recyclable materials that need to be
subjected to a recycling process to protect the environment and human health. Devices that
are no longer needed should therefore be disposed of via a suitable collection service or by sending the
device back to the place of purchase. The device will then be subjected to material recycling. If the power
cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a repair shop, or a similarly qualified person to
ensure that the process is carried out in a risk-free manner.
Guarantee
1. Tondeo Werk GmbH grants a statutory guarantee for all non-wearing components of all of the company's
electrical devices. The rights arising from this guarantee apply alongside any legal and/or contractual
guarantee rights that the customer holds with regard to the seller of the product.
2. The guarantee period starts when the customer takes possession of the device. The point at which pos-
session of the device passes to the customer is to be verified by means of proof of purchase such as the till
receipt, invoice, delivery slip, or similar documentation.
3. Defects that arise during the guarantee period and that are communicated to us in writing within three
