INTENDED USE: Intended for use with suction equipment to allow for the collection and disposal of bodily fluids or
other materials removed during surgical or medical procedures.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Note: If more than one canister/liner is needed, a manifold must be used. Use either
manifold number 538210 (two-liner stopcock manifold) or 538410 (four-liner
stopcock manifold).
1. Attach tube from vacuum source to port underneath bracket.
2. Gently shake lid to verify shut-off mechanism moves freely.
3. Grasp, fully stretch out flexible liner and add half twist of bag for easier insertion of
liner into canister.
4. Insert liner into reusable outer canister and press lid firmly around entire perimeter to
ensure proper seal.
5. To seat cover and inflate liner in canister, turn vacuum on to canister and place thumb
over open end of white tube until liner is fully inflated.
6. Attach white vacuum hose to vacuum port. Connect patient tube to patient port or reference Manifold IFU if
hooking in tandem. Cap any unused ports. Liner should now be inflated and ready to use.
7. At the end of the procedure, and before disconnecting vacuum, remove tubing and cap all ports lightly.
8. Grasp the handle to remove the liner from the outer canister and dispose of according to hospital policy.
Clean and disinfect reusable outer canister after use.
Note: When using a tandem setup, dispose of all used and unused canisters after the procedure.
