Status indicators
The safety switch has two LEDs for status and error
messages Tab. 4 below only provides an overview; you will
find all LED signal functions in Tab. 5.

6.2
Teaching-in an actuator
Before the system forms a functional unit, the actuator
must be allocated to the read head using a teach-in
function.
During the "Teach-in" operation, the safety outputs and
the door signal output OUT are set to LOW, i.e. the system
is in the safe state.
6.2.1
Teaching-in the first actuator (condition as
delivered)
Apply operating voltage to the read head; the read head
performs a self-test for approx. 10 seconds, during this
process the green LED flashes quickly (approx. 4 Hz).
The LED then flashes cyclically three times and signals
it is ready for teach-in.
Bring the actuator near to the read head, observe a
distance of < S
process starts, the green LED flashes slowly (approx.
1 Hz) and extinguishes when the teach-in process is
complete.
Switch off the operating voltage to the read head for at
least 3 seconds to activate in the read head the
actuator code taught-in.
