Risk of electric shock
An inappropriate earth connection may lead to
electric shock. Do not plug the appliance into an
electrical outlet if it is not correctly installed and
earthed.
This appliance needs to be earthed. In the case
of a short-circuit, earthing reduces the risk of
electric shock by providing an escape wire for the
electric current. This appliance is provided with
a power cable equipped with an earthing strand
a plug comprising earthing. The plug must be
plugged into a correctly installed and earthed
wall socket.
Contact a qualified electrician or repair specialist
if you do not fully understand the earthing
instructions or if you are unsure whether the
appliance is earthed correctly. If you need to use
an extension cord, only use a cord with 3 strands.

cord to avoid someone tripping over it or the
cable getting tangled up if it is too long.
