Cleaning / Maintenance
The safety burner is maintenance-free.
To remove external dirt please note the following points:
• Close the shut-off valve before cleaning.
Attention:
Never use water or compressed air to rinse or blow out burners! This could flush out /
blow out the sealant grease causing the burner to leak. Always comply with the operating
instructions!
• Do not use chemical cleaning fluids.
• Use only a damp leather cloth to clean the frame.
• Never bore or unscrew the burner nozzles.
Attention:
do not blow compressed air down the burner's connector pipe!
The grease sealant will be removed or a sealing ring may be dislodged and the burner will leak.
• The maximum temperature for cleaning is 50
Dismantling for cleaning:
Attention:
The burner pipes and contacts are connected by a metal joint. This must not be bent!
• Unscrew the large and small burner pipes.
• Pull the contacts out of the joint from below.
• The burner pipes can now be boiled out separately.
Reassembly after cleaning:
• Slide the contacts into the joint from below.
• Screw on the burner pipes.
• Attention:
reposition the contacts in their original position. Do not bend!
• Control the functioning.
► If the burner nozzle becomes plugged, disassemble the tubes than hold the burner with the nozzle
facing down. Use a hair dryer or other device generating hot air, melt the wax plug and allow the
molten wax to completely run out.
► If this method fails to clean the nozzle, it must be either cleaned or replaced by an authorized
technician.

Spare Parts

You can find components subject to wear and the spare parts on the spare part list in the
internet at www.renfert.com/p918.
Enter the following item number: 9330100 or 9320100
The components excluded from the warranty (such as consumables or parts subject to wear and tear) are
marked on the spare part list.
Serial number and date of manufacturing are shown on the type plate of the unit.

Guarantee
All safety burners are examined carefully by us before dispatch. Should any malfunctions occur please
send in your burner for repair with a description of the problem. Do not try and repair the unit yourself!
The burner's nozzles and pipes are harmonised and should not be changed as they will then no longer
comply with regulations.
When used properly Renfert guarantees all parts of the safety burner for 3 years.
The original sales invoice of the specialist depot is required for a claim under guarantee. Parts given to
natural wear and tear are excluded from this guarantee.
The guarantee is void for damage caused by misuse, disregard of the instructions for use, cleaning, main-
tenance and connection, for self-repaired units or repair by untrained personnel, for use of spare parts
from other manufacturers and on influences outside the normal practice or unauthorised in the instruction
manual.
Services under guarantee do not extend the guarantee.
