TROUBLESHOOTING

Probable Causes
The coffee is ground
too fine.
Filter blocked.
Water passage grid is
clogged.
Presence of scale.
Dirty filter-holder or
dirty filter.
The coffee is ground
too fine.
The knob is in the
"Steam" position
(b3).
Filter holder is
clogged up.
The filter holder is not
properly positioned.
Insufficient rinsing.
The knob is in the
"Espresso"
position (b2).
The knob opened too
early.
Solutions
Use more coarsely
ground coffee.
Clean it with a brush.
Clean the appliance
when cold.
De-Scale the
appliance.
Clean them with hot
water.
Use more coarsely
ground coffee.
Turn the knob to the
"Espresso" position
(b2).
Remove any excess
ground coffee.
Put it back into place
and lock it into
position.
Follow the rinsing
instructions.
Turn the knob to the
"Steam" position (b3).
Close the "Steam"
knob for 2
minutes.
